IWOOT - Stuff you really, really want
Join Rory Breaker for a guided tour of the London criminal underworld, recommended by Mad Frankie Fraser – the notorious gangland legend. Actor Vas Blackwood was once an on-screen drug-dealing businessman, best known for his iconic role in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Explore film locations as well as places associated with real-life gangsters. Vas will provide exciting insights into the history of each stop, having rubbed shoulders with some of London’s ex-gangsters himself.
You and a friend will be guided around many of the locations that the Kray twins frequented, such as the Blind Beggar pub where the tour will commence. This is where Ronnie Kray murdered a rival gang member. You’ll also visit Repton Boys Club, where the Krays used to box. Find out how the gangsters ‘ran’ the capital in the 1960s. You’ll see film locations used in gangster movies such as The Crying Game, Face, and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels; and your guide will be able give you behind-the-scenes accounts of his role as Rory Breaker. Finish with a Q&A session at a nearby pub with Vas Blackwood.
